Bloomsday Coastal Cycle
A Journey Through Time
THE EXPERIENCE
Our Bloomsday Coastal Cycle takes place on June 16th at 11:00am and begins at the Dún Laoghaire Tourist Office and takes you on a relaxed, stop-start journey through time.
We follow the coastline as far as Dalkey, soaking in magnificent sea views, Victorian charm, and the rich history that defines this beautiful part of Ireland — before finishing at the iconic James Joyce Tower, where participants enjoy a free visit inside.
This isn’t a race — it’s a social, immersive experience full of character, conversation, and plenty of photo opportunities.
BIKES
Bring your own bike or hire one locally from The Cycle Hub before we set off — whatever suits you best.
THE ROUTE
- Start: Dún Laoghaire Tourist Office
- Coastal cycle with scenic stops along the way
- Journey through historic Dún Laoghaire and surrounding areas
- Continue onward to Dalkey
- Finish: James Joyce Tower (free admission included)

We go all out for Bloomsday — and you should too!
